A rough week has Banner down, out and struggling for air. Years of oddsmaking has justified that August brings out the great in good teams, and the sheer ugliness in bad teams. Surely Banner, being the MLB guru that he is, must be aware of this. Nonetheless, it's difficult watching some of the selected dirt dogs. I think I speak for us all when I say I miss our 70% efficiency weeks. Here's the damage:
2 Weeks Ago: 8-6 (Sides: 7-5 Totals: 1-1) +3.5 units
Last Week: 11-15 (Sides: 10-11 Totals: 1-4) -5.5 units
Overall: 180-143-8 (Sides: 125-94 Totals: 55-49-8)
-2 units over the span of 2 weeks isn't something to cry over, but again, we all want our 70% back! Side winners drop to 57.1%, overall stumbles to 55.7%. Take advantage of the Bonus' during these times of Banner economic hardship.
